KPIs and Trends

The Profit feature helps you make better business decisions by showing your exact profit margins after all your costs are deducted (Amazon fees, PPC spend, promos, item cost, etc.) It integrates seamlessly with Seller Central and displays your profit data in real time.

Your interface will look something like this:

Let’s explore this a little further.

1. The Menu Bar

On top of the page, there is a secondary navigation bar that splits our Profit section into two tabs. In this article, we will focus on the first tab -- the Overview page.

2. Settings Bar

Here you can set the timeframe you'd like to view, as well as the timezone, the marketplace, and the currency. Please note that you can also view the aggregate information of a whole region of marketplaces, e.g. Europe. In addition, you can enter the currency that is relevant to you -- we will automatically calculate the conversion retrospectively for the entire timeframe based on the official currency rates from the European Central Bank.

3. Profit Breakdown Graph

Left Bar

Here you can see your total revenue (including your shipping and gift-wrapping revenue and the VAT for European accounts). Hover over the sandwich bar to see how much of your revenue is organic and how much comes from PPC.

Middle Bar

This bar showcases all the costs that reduce your total revenue. Hover with your mouse to see all the different types of costs. On the region market level, you can see additional costs such as storage fees and FBA service fees.

Right Bar

This bar shows your profit margin and total profit. :-)

4. Calculator

Our calculator includes all the details in an easy-to-digest table so you can check KPIs like your Gross Profit or your Contribution Margin. This calculator is also available for each individual product, as we will explain later.

5. KPIs and Trends

Our KPI and Growth table gives you a quick overview of all the major numbers and helps you understand how they evolved compared to the previous period. Below you can select any KPI and create a trend graph. You can generate side by side comparisons for all the relevant metrics. For example, you may want to check how your PPC revenue share has changed over time compared to your profit, to determine if you should do more or less advertising.

Profit Product table

Scroll down to see the product table. This table includes the sales history of all your products (regardless of whether they sold or not) within the timeframe you selected on the settings bar.

• Filtering, Metrics and Grouping

You can search this table for a specific product and create a custom view of the columns you want to see. Our Profit feature includes 40 metrics!

By default, Sellics will group your product by Parent ASIN and by marketplace if you’re looking at your market on the region level.

• Export

You can export all of the visible data to an excel/csv file and perform an even deeper analysis of your profit metrics.

• Hyperlinks

From each product, you can easily access the Sellics product dashboard, the Amazon listing page, and a calculator that will automatically create a table of all the relevant details for this specific product, such as its profit margin.
