You can significantly fast-track your Sellics Smart Campaigns learning phase by adding historically high-performing targets and negating low-performing targets. This is strongly recommended for any product where a performance history exists.

Short on time? Check out the video above to get step-by-step instructions on how to speed up the performance of your Sellics Smart Campaigns.

You’ll learn how to:
• identify high- and low-performing targets
• add/negate those targets in your Sellics Smart Campaigns
• add optimized bids for your most important targets
• pause your advertised ASINs in existing campaigns

1. Determine High - and Low-performing Targets

Target = Keyword or ASIN target Targets to add

You can check them at the Optimize feature within Sponsored Products:

2. Add these Targets to your Sellics Smart Campaigns

Positive Targets: Add them manually as broad keywords to your broad ad group in your Sellics Smart Campaigns.

Negative Targets: Add all negative targets to all Sellics Smart Campaigns on a campaign level. You can use the Sellics bulk keyword feature to add positive and negative targets

3. Use optimized bids for your most important Targets

Do you have already highly-optimized bids for your targets? In this case, we recommend using them for your high-performing targets. Just copy your last keyword / ASIN bids and add them to the respective keywords in your new Sellics Smart Campaign.

Example: High performing target: cheap white sneakers

Add the historical bid to “cheap white sneakers” in your Sellics Smart Campaigns.

4. Pause advertised ASINS in old campaigns

It’s important that Sellics Smart Campaigns don’t compete with historical campaigns for your advertised ASIN. In order to ensure this doesn’t happen, pause the advertised ASIN in your old campaigns. If you have only 1 ASIN per campaign, you can pause the respective campaigns.

And that’s it! By adopting the recommendations outlined above, you will significantly shorten the learning phase of your Sellics Smart Campaigns. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Sellics Account Manager.

Tip: After creating your Smart Campaigns the feature will set the default bid of your search terms and targets to 1,5 ( for every currency of the marketplace). It is highly suggested that you keep an eye on and change the default bid afterward if it's too high or low for your category. We recommend checking the Benchmarker in order to get an understanding of the average CPC in your category and marketplace.
